Why Digital Object Identifier (DOI)?

DOI is a Digital Object Identifier which is commonly using to identify the academic and professional records such as journal articles, books (or) book chapters, etc. In recent years, it has gained more attention in education / publishing industry because of its unique identification system. Crossref is the organization which is offering the DOI registration service globally.

Publishers should have a technical knowledge to register the DOI for published papers / books / book chapters, etc. It is difficult for Crossref for providing technical support for every publisher due to its large network! Therefore, KVRSS Group has partnered with the Crossref to offer various services offering by the Crossref like DOI, Reference linking, etc. In simple terms, KVRSS Group is a sponsoring organization of Crossref to deliver the services offering by the Crossref. We will provide most of the Crossref services to the publishers, educational institutions, etc.

For automating the DOI registration, we have developed a cloud application called as DOI Management System (DOIMS). All the publishers, who are collaborated with the KVRSS Group, will be provided an access to the DOIMS for instant activation of the DOIs.
